The UG course has been accredited by NBA for the second time for 3 years in May 2009 . The department is housed in an ultramodern complex surrounded by beautiful landscape creating an excellent learning ambience.  The department possesses experienced and qualified teaching faculty. Apart from academic activities, the department organizes various seminars and guest lectures for updating technical knowledge. The department has well equipped laboratories with modern and sophisticated equipment. The students of the department have always   excelled in curricular as well as extra-curricular   activities like sports, art, cultural etc.

The department of Electronics -Engineering has an active society called "EXESS-FORRUM" which has been formed with a view to promote various technical activities, co-curricular activities and extra-curricular activities for Knowledge growth and overall personality development of  the students .

The department is headed by Dr. S. S. Shriramwar.

Department of Electronics Engineering







Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

Problem  analysis :  Identify,  formulate,  review  research  literature,  and  analyze  complex engineering  problems  reaching  substantiated  conclusions  using  first  principles  of  mathematics natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system  components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and  safety,  and  the cultural,  societal,  and  environmental considerations.

Conduct  investigations  of  complex  problems : Use  research-based  knowledge  and  research  methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

Modern  tool  usage :  Create,  select,  and  apply  appropriate  techniques,  resources,  and  modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

The  engineer  and  society : Apply  reasoning  informed  by  the  contextual  knowledge  to  assess  societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.







Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in  societal  and  environmental  contexts,  and  demonstrate  the  knowledge  of,  and  need  for sustainable development.

To provide all basic fundamental prerequisites in mathematical, scientific and Electronics Engineering necessary to formulate, solve and analyze Engineering technical problems.

To train students with good scientific and Engineering breadth so as to analyze, design, and create novel products and solutions for the real life problems.

To identify, formulate and analyze the problems in Electronics Engineering by using principles of Mathematics and Engineering fundamentals.

Use of various Simulation tools such as Tanner Tool, MATLAB, MULTISM, ORCAD etc for design and analysis of various systems.

To inculcate effective communication skills, teamwork, multidisciplinary approach, and an ability to relate Engineering issues social aspects.
