Head of the Department

Dr. R. M. Dhoble is an accomplished academician and administrator with over 36 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Civil Engineering. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering in 1988, followed by a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Environmental Engineering in 1999, and was awarded a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), Nagpur in 2013.

Dr. Dhoble currently serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, bringing with him a wealth of academic leadership and institutional development experience. He has held several key administrative positions, including, Head of the Department (HoD) for 15 years, Dean of Research and Development for 3 years, and Officiating Principal for 4 years. He has also contributed to the academic governance of RTMNU, Nagpur by serving in various capacities on university-level committees.

Academic Contributions and Research: Dr. Dhoble has published over 34 research papers in reputed national and international journals. His primary area of specialization is Water and Wastewater Treatment, and he continues to contribute significantly to research and innovation in this critical area of Environmental Engineering.As a recognized Ph.D. and M.Tech supervisor under RTMNU, he is currently guiding three doctoral research scholars, fostering research and academic excellence among postgraduate and doctoral students.

Professional Affiliations and Engagements:Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Indian Water Works Association (IWWA). Served as Session Chair at several prestigious international conferences, contributing to academic discourse and networking across institutions.Dr. Dhoble is dedicated to advancing the field of Civil Engineering through quality education, cutting-edge research, and effective academic leadership.
