Head of the Department

Mr. Vishal S. Ghutke, currently serves as the Assistant Professor and Head of the Civil Engineering Department at Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur. With over 17 years of dedicated teaching experience, He earned his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree in 1999 from Nagpur University and completed his M.Tech. in Rock Mechanics from I.I.T. Delhi in 2001. Presently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from V.N.I.T. Nagpur.

He has expertise spans various subjects, including Engineering Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering, and Surveying. Over the course of his career, he has published 14 research papers in prestigious national and international journals and conferences. Additionally, he holds one patent to his name.

As an active member of professional bodies, holds lifetime memberships in the Indian Geotechnical Society, the Institution of Engineers (India), and the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI). His commitment to professional development is evident from his involvement as a coordinator for workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDP), and national conferences.
