Dr. Prashant R. Rothe is currently the Registrar and an Associate Professor at Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur. He holds a Doctorate in Electronics Engineering from RTM Nagpur University and did his Bachelor of Engineering from Amravati University and his masters from RTM Nagpur University. Prior to joining Priyadarshini College of Engineering in 1991,He had a brief stint as a Service Engineer in the Industrial Battery Chargers Manufacturing Industry for two years.

He has 2 Patents to his credit and has around 42 research papers published in National and International Journals. In his career spanning more than 3 decades, He has chaired various sessions at the national level and has also been in the forefront of organizing various national level workshops, competitions, and conferences. Given his rich experience in the field of technical education, He is invited as a resource person to deliver technical talks at various institutions of higher education in the region.
