About The Cell:
To ensure ragging free campus , the college has set up Anti Ragging Cell. The Anti Ragging Cell is headed by the Head Of Institution and consisting of representatives of teaching faculty, local media and student and parent representatives.
Anti Ragging Cell will monitor and keep check on different areas within campus.Any untoward incident will be acted upon by the cell and it will act according to directives of AICTE and Supreme Court with regard to Anti Ragging.

Periodicity of the meeting: | Daily during the first two months of the ODD semes- ter and as and when required thereafter. |
Role and Responsibilities :
- The anti-ragging committee in letter and spirit shall ensure that the incidence of ragging does not take place in the campus
- The committee shall take a serious cognizance of in campus and off campus incidences of ragging.
- The committee in case of ragging incidence shall conduct a constitutional hearing in which both the victim and guilty shall be given equal hearing opportunity.
- The committee shall prepare its detail hearing report and submit it to an apex institute AICTE.
- The committee shall lodge a complaint against guilty with the police if so warranted.
- The committee shall constitute an anti ragging squad who will take rounds in the campus and outside to prevent ragging.
- The committee shall take all deterrent measures to ensure ragging free campus.
- The committee shall ensure that every learner has all democratic, justifiable and deterring to the ragging menace.
- The Anti Ragging Committee and Anti Ragging Squad consisting of following members is constitutes for PCE.
METHODOLOGY OF THE COMMITEE:

Anti ragging commitee instructed its members to put up notices regarding antiragging, the penalties involved and various rules constituted by the government bodies in the case of anti ragging.

Instructions were given to display various notices on notice board of all the departments and laboratories. In addition to this posters were displayed mentioning various clauses of the anti ragging act.

Notices were circulated in all the classrooms of the first year so as to create awareness among students regarding ragging and its prohibition and a punishable offense.

Students were made aware about the anti ragging commitee and its members and were informed to report any untoward incident happened in case of ragging to faculty/members of the commitee.

The commitee has set up anti ragging squad which will conduct visits in the campus at various places to ensure overall discipline to curb ragging.

The squad will visit certain areas of the campus namely library,canteen, students parking area to check for any untoward incident.

Security guards are appointed at entry points of the campus and at other locations so as to check for any untoward incident.
