About Department

The Department of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence was established in 2021 with Intake of 60 and has been approved by AICTE. The Department consists of very highly qualified staff with research and industrial experience. Major focus of department is to generate skilled personnel in the cutting edge areas of Robotics (which includes design and manufacturing of the robot, sensing, control, programming and applications of robots) and AI (which includes basics of Programming, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Deep Learning, IT and Communication Systems) .

Artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotics along with Machine Learning (ML) form a powerful combination for automating tasks in different sectors including manufacturing, health, automobile and others.

In recent years, AI has become an increasingly common presence in robotic solutions, introducing flexibility and learning capabilities in previously rigid applications. Robotics and AI amplify human potentials, increase productivity and are moving from simple reasoning towards human like cognitive abilities

With the above understanding the department has been started to become a leading teaching, training and research Institute in this field of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence and contribute towards building manpower ready for entrepreneurship, and Jobs for Global Industry requirements and standards for Industry 4.0 which is imperative in the growth of country.
