Head of the Department

Dr. Leena H Patil, Associate Professor and Head of the Department in Computer Science & Engineering, has a rich and varied teaching and research experience of more than 24 years. She has been associated with this LTJSS group since July 2005. Completed the PhD in Computer Science & Engineering (2017) in Multistage Document Clustering using soft computing approach and M. E in Computer Science and Engineering (2004) from SGBAU Amravati. She graduated in Computer Science and Engineering (1998) from SGGS, Nanded.

Over the past few years, she has published and presented more than 45 publications in indexed journals, conferences, IEEE conference proceedings and books. 

Professional Society Life time member of CSI, IEEE, ISTE and IEANG. She is also a member of the reviewer board of various journals and technical program committee of several reputed conferences.

Under the supervision of Dr. Leena Patil, six research scholars are pursuing their PhD.

For the Project meeting, Conferences, Train-the-Trainer Session and Moodle training, Dr. Leena Patil has visited Algebra University Zagreb, Croatia, Universitat Politecnica de Valencia, University of Nicosia, Cyprus under the European commission Project, ERASMUS+PROJECT CYBER SECURITY FOR ALL(CS4ALL).

Her research interests include Compiler, Data Mining, Cryptography, Security and Soft Computing.

For the work in teaching, research and administration Dr. Leena Patil Received Bhisma Acharya Award for recognising Exemplary Contribution of Research and Education Sector at the Bharat Education Excellence Awards (BEEA) 2025!
