Knowledge sharing Programme on the topic "Research proposal submission and writing and Research paper writing in unpaid journals "was recently organized by Department of Applied Physics, Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur, for the teaching staff of the college. Dr.S.J.Dhoble, Professor, Department of Physics,R.T.M.Nagpur University,Nagpur was the guest speaker.Dr.S.J.Dhoble gave an inspirational and enlightening talk on Research proposal writing and research publications. The lecture was very interactive and teaching faculty got an opportunity to understand how to write an effective research proposal. Dr. M.P. Singh, Principal,PCE and Dr. S.A. Dhale, Vice Principal, PCE, highlighted the importance of such programme in spreading awareness about research activity. The event was coordinated by Dr. Mrs.S.U. Bhonsule and was made successful under the able guidance of Dr. N.S. Ugemuge, H.O. D. Department of Applied Physics.Dr. Mrs. Manisha Joshi, Dean Academics B.E. First year was present prominently. Professor Swati Soley and non-teaching staff of Applied Physics Department worked hard for the success of this event.

Guest lecture 2019
Guest Lecture by Dr. S. J. Dhoble, Professor, Department of Physics,RTMNU Nagpur, was organized by Department of Applied Physics for B.E. First Year students on 28/08/18. Dr.S.J.Dhoble delivered a lecture on ''Importance of LED lighting and motivation for research to students''. It was a very interactive session wherein the speaker emphasized on understanding the need and opportunities available in industries to enhance research. Dr. M. P. Singh, Principal and Vice Principal, Dr. S. A. Dhale and Dr.M.P.Joshi, Dean First year Priyadarshini College of Engineering, addressed the students on this occasion. All the faculty members of the Department worked hard for the success of the event.
"RESONANCE 19" an Inter Collegiate, Poster & Model making competition with Theme "Technological Innovations Based on Concept of Physics." was held on 31st January 2019.This event provides an opportunity to B.E First Year students to discover the latest trends in science and technologies and provides a platform to explore their intelligence, subject understanding, creativity and presentation skills. About 16 groups of students from other colleges in Nagpur of B.E. Ist year also participated in the event. Dr.Mrs.) Shruti Patle , Asst. Prof. Dept. of Applied Physics, Priyadarshini J.L.College of Engineering, Nagpur and Dr. Amol Nande, Asst. Prof.,Guru Nanak Science College, Ballarpur judged the models and posters of the students. The event coordinators Mrs. S. S. Soley. All faculty members worked hard for the success of the event under the able guidance of HOD Dr.(Mr.) N.S.Ugemuge.
