Head of the Department

Dr. (Mrs) N. M. Thakare, has completed her PhD in Computer Science and Engineering. She has been engaged in education and research for the last 25 years. Her area of interest is Data Structures, Computer Vision, Object Oriented Technologies and Soft Computing. She is an active member of ACM Professional Chapter and is involved in organizing National and International level events of ACM Chapter.

She has published more than 50 papers in reputed National conferences , International journals and Conferences such as ACM, IEEE, SCOPUS, SCI. She is recognised as External PhD Supervisor by the renowned universities and 04 PhD Scholars are pursuing PhD under her guidance. She has authored a book 'Step by Step : Object Oriented Programming using c++" . Her book has been widely referred to by Engineering and MCA students. She has one Patent and one copyright to her credit.

As the Head of Department she has organized a number of quality events for students' development such as Training programs and Workshops on latest technologies, Inter collegiate competitions, Soft skill development programs, Aptitude development programs and Campus recruitment programs. She also motivates faculty members of the department for their skill enhancement and curricular enrichment. She was conferred with the most prestigious award "50 Women in Education Leaders" as the recognition of her excellent leadership. She delivered lectures in various National ,International Short Term Training Programs and chaired a number of international conferences.
